I love camping, particularly canoe tripping.  You can really reach far into the wilderness and with some good planning have fresh food.  We went on a trip in the ADK, here is my 3 day menu – there is nothing like cooking and eating in the wilderness.  This is why I love to take canoe trips, you can carry more and aren’t forced to eat dry dehydrated food :).  You can do some smart packing and really not feel like your suffering at all.

DAY 1
DINNER: Pre-grilled chicken and sweet potato fries
DESSERT: Smores (marshmallows and graham crackers)

DAY 2
BREAKFAST:  Eggs, bacon, coffee
LUNCH:  Bagel with deli meat (pepperoni and cheese)
DINNER:  Pizza – mozzarella, sauce, pepperoni
DESSERT:  Rice-crispy treats

DAY 3
BREAKFAST:  Eggs, bacon, coffee
